I wanted to sleep actually,
But then halfway through going to sleep,
I heard hysterical shoutings.
Some family opposite my block is quarreling.
The daughter suddenly made a dash towards the window at 16th floor,
She almost jumped 16 stories down,
If her mum didn't tackled her down in time.

It took about 1hr for the police to come.
I witnessed first hand,
How a man in uniform,
Can have such a big effect on people.
When they shown up,
The tensed situation suddenly eased,
And the situation was under control.
After awhile the police cuffed the girl and drove off.

After seeing all those,
I wanted more than ever to become a police man.
Even though on the surface it's just a normal man wearing a uniform.
It has more meaning as it is.
I wanna save people's life,
I wanna keep people safe,
I wanna protect precious things.
This is what I want for my future.

I guess that I'm being too self centered,
Always not paying enough attention to you.
